Kageaki Smith

Born and bred on the remote isles of Bermuda, now based in Tokyo. Kageaki’s skill was born through photojournalism, working 5 years as the solo lead for a local paper his lens captures, creates and unveils the unseen.

With an extensive body of work covering editorial, fashion, nature and more - there’s no task too big. Kageaki taps into the consciousness of a wanderer, approaching his subjects with an intimate yet playful style. Constantly pursuing personal projects which push him to challenge his status quo, he is always eager to evolve his imaginative passion. 

Living in Tokyo, Japan since 2013, Kageaki has focused his attention to film photography. This land which was one completely foreign has become a new playground of discovering. His intentions are to further develop his style and understanding of the photography industry, both in Japan and abroad.
